Organized groups may reserve the following facilities:
1. Wiard Park Shelter (9 tables)
2. Wiard Park Gazebo (1 table)
3. Crest Park Shelter (6 tables)
4. Keller Park Gazebo (1 table)
Requests to reserve the entirety of Wiard Park or Crest Park will not be granted.
Special Use Permits
Groups of 150 or more are required to apply for a Special Use Permit. Special Use also applies to groups - regardless of attendance - who plan to set up PA systems, community events, fundraisers, etc. A PDF version of the Special Use Permit Form is found below.
A non-refundable $40 reservation fee is charged for all organized groups. Qualified non-profit organizations are assessed a reduced fee of $20.
Reservation fees are paid via online invoice system.
For safety reasons, vehicles must be guided on and off the premises by Wiard Park District staff. A vehicle permit is required for this purpose.
Encroachment on a reserved space is strictly prohibited. Wiard Park staff and peace officers are vested with the authority to deny entry or exclude offenders of this policy per Ordinance No. 01-03; section 14.SpecialUsePermit.pdf
